Pelter and Minker

The picture above show the handle options available on our knives.  Please note that Sambar stag has become more difficult to obtain in the past few years; as a result, the price has increased.  For this reason, we must charge more than Dymondwood handles and some knife models may not be readily available in Sambar stag.  You may wish to email us at s.greene@earthlink.net or call at 800-245-6483 to check on availability before placing an order. 
Small Double Set

The Pelter is an elongated, "grown-up" version of the Minker.  With the double set of recesses, sportsmen  are finding this knife perfect for use on deer and elk, as well as raccoon, coyote, fox and other predators.  The Pelter is a versatile knife, equally at home in the field or fur shed.   Each knife is shipped in a holster-grade leather sheath.

Length of Pelter is 7 3/8" overall; blade measures 3 3/8" x 3/4" x 1/8".

Pelter - Sambar Stag  $250.00

The Minker is our smallest knife.  This small semi-skinner has recesses on the blade and handle which make it an excellent knife for many tasks.  Trappers - the Minker is great on muskrats and mink.  Hunters - you would be hard-pressed to find a more perfect knife for caping.  Taxidermists - you will soon call this knife your favorite for doing detail work on heads and faces.

 

This sweet little knife is an excellent choice for a youngster just getting started hunting, fishing, or trapping.  The size of the Minker fits young hand well and is suited for the smaller animals newer hunters first harvest.

 

As with all our knives, the Minker is shipped in a holster-grade leather sheath.
